One Year of Transformation: Ross Eagle Rises to the Challenge

A lot has happened aboard the Ross Eagle in just one year!

On January 25th, 2024, Eagle Offshore officially took over the vessel in Aberdeen. Originally delivered as a traditional Platform Supply Vessel (PSV), Ross Eagle already had one major advantage: a built-in moonpool. But that was only the beginning.

A Major Refit – Purpose-Built for Offshore Performance as Construction Support Vessel (CSV).

Over the past 12 months, Ross Eagle has undergone an extensive transformation to support high-performance subsea operations. Under Eagle Offshore’s ownership, the vessel has been upgraded with:

  • 100mt A-Frame installed over the moonpool
  • Active Heave Compensated (AHC) winch for precise subsea handling
  • Working Class ROV (WROV) for full intervention capacity – operated by IKM Subsea
  • Upgraded accommodation and technical areas
  • Structural and functional enhancements across multiple systems

These improvements make Ross Eagle a versatile, dependable platform for a wide range of complex offshore scopes.

Technical Capabilities at a Glance
